National Helicopter Services Limited, a leading provider of helicopter transport and related services to the energy and state sectors, is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified professional to fill the following position:

 QUALITY INSPECTOR

The Quality Inspector supports the organizational quality goals by carrying out both quality inspections and quality audits on the company’s aircraft in accordance with the TTCAR’s and current industry audit practices and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and executes quality inspections and audits in accordance with the audit plan.

• Documents audit results and reports non-compliances to the Quality Manger.

• Reports to the Quality Manager, any obstacles or problems encountered during the execution of an audit.

• Monitors compliance with, and adequacy of, the procedures required to ensure safe operational practices and airworthy aircraft of the organization.

• Verify that standards required by the Authority and any additional requirements defined by the organization are carried out by monitoring activities in the field of maintenance.

• Maintain an up to date knowledge of aircraft maintenance and airworthiness legislation and best industry practice as it affects the safe operation of the company’s aircraft.

Requirements:

• Five (5) C.X.C/G.C.E passes including Mathematics and English.
• A course related to Quality Auditing Techniques would be an asset.
• National Technician’s Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or acceptable equivalent of these qualifications.
• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or acceptable equivalent.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in Aviation maintenance related activities.
• One (1) year experience in returning an aircraft to service would be an asset.
• Demonstrable knowledge of AW139 aircraft and its related manuals and systems.
• Knowledge of applicable TTCARs.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of aircraft systems, subsystems and component replacement.
