Processing facility to ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality Standards.
Functions:
To oversee all activities of the Quality Control Department operational functions by
following established procedures in the
- Processing facility to ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality Standards.
- Leading the implementation, maintenance and improvement of operational food safety
programs
- Risk evaluation and control program development
- The Maintenance of Food Safety and HSE systems, standards and processes
- New implementations, corrective actions and performance reporting.
- Training and inspecting requirements to satisfy the business objectives and continuous
improvement culture throughout all operations.
Minimum Required qualifications and experience:
- Minimum requirements: B.Sc. Degree in Human Ecology/ Food Science/ Food Safety &
Quality/Occupational Safety,
- Health or Environment (with risk assessment and control procedures) OR certification in
the aforementioned disciplines with eight (8) years’ experience in the field of
quality/safety or environmental management within a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership skills including the ability to coach/ influence the development of a food safe
culture.
- Sound working knowledge/principles of the following standards ISO 9001:2015 ISO
45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 (knowledge of ISO17025:2005 is an advantage) ISO
22000, HACCP and NSF.
- Sound report writing and inspecting/auditing ability.
- Good communication skills.
