Quality Assurance Supervisor - Tetra

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining quality protocols for the Tetra Quality Assurance Lab and manufacturing process. This role ensures compliance with SQF, corporate, and international regulatory requirements to minimize risks of cross-contamination and quality defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee in-line quality monitoring and ensure adherence to CIP/COP procedures.
• Validate sanitation processes and authorize production start-ups.
• Conduct weekly reviews of quality lab records and report any non-conformances.
• Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated and functional.
• Maintain stock levels of lab consumables.
• Participate in day-to-day operations to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with third-party copack requirements.
• Supervise QA lab activities and ensure skilled coverage for testing.
• Conduct training sessions for QA technicians.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of supervisory experience in a Quality Assurance Lab in the beverage manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with Tetra Pak juice products is essential.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in beverage manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Formal training and working knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, GMP protocols, and HACCP.
• Strong time-management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build engaging relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate empathy and leadership
