Chilitos Jamexican Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Officer to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

Job Summary:

The Purchasing & Inventory Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's inventory and purchasing operations. This includes ensuring the availability of necessary materials and products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate the purchase and delivery of materials and products.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely procurement.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Inventory Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and purchasing systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
