LEADERSHIP ROLE IN THEIR OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this leader is responsible for one of the core operations of the entity; to maintain a high-quality physical facility which will present to clients and visitors a sense of tranquillity and reflect excellent standards of care and sensitivity.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction or any equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations that require use and maintenance of mechanical equipment, management of operations over significant land space and management of other leaders and blue-collar workers
• Physical Fitness to oversee significant land space

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include:

1. Prepares and executes an Annual Plan for the Operations Department to include a Financial Budget.
2. Establishes Annual Plan for construction and ensures work is always done to agreed specifications; and timelines are met.
3. Manages projects to facilitate necessary change and ongoing growth of the entity.
4. Ensures equipment are adequately maintained and usage appropriately managed.
5. Provide excellent service to customer and visitors to the facility.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
7. Leads in a manner to ensure continuous learning and growth for team members and always work towards building a psychologically safe environment.
