Pump Attendants (Trelawny - Clarks Town)

We are hiring Pump Attendants for our client in Trelawny.

PUMP ATTENDANTS

JOB SUMMARY:
The core responsibilities of the Pump Attendant are to provide excellent customer service while exercising accuracy in the handling of cash for the company.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
• Greet all customers warmly and thank them for their patronage as per guidelines
• Ensure the correct fuel type and amount is dispensed as per customer request and according to company policies and procedures
• Check all cash received from customers before they leave the pump
• Issue receipts to customers for cash received for petrol
• Process credit and/or debit card transactions using the mobile machines if available or ask the Supervisor/Cashier to process
• Balance all cash receipts daily and turn over receipts to the Supervisor/Cashier
• Comply with the Gas Station Policy, Safety and Security Policy and all other company polices as advised and/or trained to observe
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in accordance with company operations.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Primary and secondary school education
• Prior experience as a Pump Attendant an asset
• Superior customer and interpersonal relations skills
• Highly accurate, honest and efficient especially in the handling of cash
• Trustworthy and possess the ability to command trust
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• The ability to follow instructions consistently
