Property Officer

Provide property management support to the Company and performance reports on the portfolio.

Primary responsibility includes supporting the property portfolio management of the Company.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Management, Business Administration, Real Estate or a related area with real estate coursework is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years property management experience.
• General understanding of real estate investing and commercial real estate property management
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Excellent verbal, writing, and communication skills.
• Goal-oriented with strong organizational and management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment but also to take initiative and work with limited instruction.
• Willingness to travel.

Functions

• Provide general administrative and property management support to the Company and provide performance reports on the portfolio.
• Prepare capital expense budget for each property each period.
• Prepare reconciliation reports on capital expenses for each property.
• Prepare monthly ROI, variance, efficiency and occupancy reports for review by the Property and Building Manager.
• Co-ordinate work flow with service providers on all our properties.
• As part of a team, co-ordinate frequently with legal, finance, property management and private contractors.
• Liaise with all tenants and property managers to ensure that the properties are maintained to a standard in keeping with the requirements of the landlord.
• Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
