The role involves managing staff, coordinating property upkeep, and ensuring compliance with safety and emergency protocols. Additionally, the Property Manager will supervise construction projects and maintain excellent communication with residents, shareholders, and directors.

Position: Property Manager
Location: Manor Court, Kingston 8
Reports To: Board of Directors


Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Duties:
• Coordinate and attend Board/Directors’ meetings.
• Manage Shareholder communication and accounting processes, including receivables, payroll summaries, and vendor payments.
• Oversee laundry services and token inventory.
2. Purchasing:
• Procure supplies for gardening, janitorial needs, pool maintenance, generators, and general building upkeep.
3. Staff Supervision:
• Hire, train, and manage staff schedules and performance.
4. Property Maintenance:
• Oversee waste management, landscaping, pest control, and quarterly maintenance of elevators, generators, and water pumps.
• Manage pool and gazebo areas, repair needs, and intercom systems.
5. Safety:
• Ensure 24/7 security, monitor cameras, conduct fire extinguisher checks, and organize emergency evacuation drills.
6. Hurricane Preparedness:
• Coordinate resident alerts, secure common areas, and manage post-storm cleanup.
7. Construction Oversight:
• Approve and supervise apartment renovations and Manor Court construction projects such as reroofing, repainting, and elevator updates.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Word and Excel
• 2 years  experience in property management or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance, safety, and compliance protocols.
• Proficiency in managing budgets and vendor relationshipsv
