Promotions Assistant, Premium Beverages

To assist with the implementation of On-trade and Off-trade promotional activities

We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Premium Beverages Division:

PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Assist the Sales and Marketing teams with the implementation of promotions, including transportation of product and display units, signage, preparation of hampers and any other functions deemed necessary
• Report on Promotions with the use of sales data during events (determine how the product was used)
• Assist with the development of On-trade and Off-trade signage and the distribution of same to assigned outlets
• Maintain proper inventory of the promotion bin every two months and give reports to the Events & Promotions Manager to update POS catalogue
• Ensure all promotional material is returned and appropriately stored after promotional activities
• Work closely with external promotion teams/suppliers to execute according to plan
• Brief promotional staff on the mechanics of the promotional activity
• Document the promotional activity by the use of photographs
• Provide timely feedback to the Events & Promotions Manager on events in order that promotion can be evaluated
• Works with the Distribution Centre and Inventory Audit teams with regards to product returns, post events.
• Performs basic bar services (straight pours of RTDs / Cocktails) as required.

 Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role/environment
• Or a relevant combination of training and experience
• A valid Driver’s Permit with a minimum of two (2) years driving experience
• Possession of a Heavy T License will be an asset
