OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named "Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)" operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide professional services and support to its member firm KPMG United States ("the Client").

Job Summary: As a Project Manager operating at the assistant manager job level, you will be the driving force behind the success of multiple small to medium projects. Your expertise in managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality will ensure that each project meets its goals. You'll collaborate closely with development teams, senior leaders, the PMO, and cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results and achieve desired outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Project Leads and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Facilitate team meetings, publish meeting minutes, and ensure timely completion of action items.
  • Maintain key project information, including progress against milestones and financial forecasts.
  • Report project status to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for risk and issue management.
  • Identify, manage, and control changes to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Engage in transformation ideation and strategic planning efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in monitoring and controlling.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple low-complexity projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and project management tools like monday.com is a plus.
