The Project Manager is responsible for developing detailed project plans and documents, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. This role is primarily based in Trinidad & Tobago and includes regional travel.

DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is responsible for developing detailed project plans and documents, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. This role is primarily based in Trinidad & Tobago and includes regional travel.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of all projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Ensure management of all HSSE requirements for delivery of projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Update site plans and as built drawings for projects.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial
  • Certification in Project Management
  • 3+ years working experience as project manager in Construction, Oil & Gas or Health Sectors
  • PMP certification (or similar)
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Projects.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Driver’s Permit & Working Vehicle
  • Must be willing to travel throughout CARICOM region
