Project Manager


Salary: $9,000.00

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective management of resources, materials, and labour. Track expenses and manage project changes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the installation team, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff. Ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is performed to meet or exceed company and client standards. Conduct quality control checks throughout the construction process.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and contractors. Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address any unexpected issues promptly.
  • Permits and Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely completion. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the timely delivery of materials.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, reports, and change orders.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any on-site challenges or conflicts with effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Project Closeout: Ensure successful project completion, including final inspections, punch lists, and client handover.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
