The Project Manager is responsible leading, planning, coordinating, and controlling all activities related to a project to achieve the set goals efficiently and effectively. Your ability to manage resources, solve problems, and communicate effectively is critical to project success.

We are seeking suitable candidates to apply for the role of Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Project planning: is responsible for the creation of a detailed project plan, which includes the definition of objectives, scope, schedule, budget and necessary resources. Identify key deliverables and establish milestones for the project.
  • Resource management: This involves allocating and coordinating human, financial, and material resources for the project. You need to make sure that the team has the necessary resources to carry out their work effectively.
  • Team supervision: Leads and motivates the project team, making sure each member understands their responsibilities and deadlines. It also encourages effective communication within the team.
  • Scope control: It is your responsibility to ensure that the project stays within the limits of the agreed scope. You need to manage scope changes and assess their impact on the project.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks is a critical part of your duties. You must develop strategies to minimize risks and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Monitoring and control: monitors the progress of the project in relation to the established plan and takes measures to correct deviations. This involves tracking the budget, schedule, and quality of work.
  • Communication: Keeping all stakeholders informed is critical. You should provide regular updates on project status to sponsors, the team, and other stakeholders.
  • Reports and documentation: Preparing progress reports, project documentation, and documenting lessons learned are key responsibilities of the Project Manager.
  • Project Closeout: At the end of the project, they are responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are complete, objectives have been achieved, and that a thorough review of the project is conducted to document lessons learned and best practices.
  • Professional development: you are looking to constantly improve your skills, stay up-to-date on project management best practices, and can seek relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree / certificate in Civil or Industrial Engineering
  • Technical expertise in medium or large-scale works
  • Training in Project Management
  • Advanced Mastery of AutoD and Microsoft Project.
  • PMP Certification * strong asset*
