Job Summary:

With a recently expanded Group portfolio of new services and solutions, as well as access to new markets, the Company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Development Lead to oversee the coordination and development of projects and products within the Group’s and Company’s portfolio.
The ideal candidate for this critical role will need to bridge the gap between product strategy, development effort, and other business functions to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. A strong background in effective project management and product development is a must, with experience in Fintech solutions being an advantage. Being proactive and able to think outside the box will bring value in leading the project development portfolio.
This role will drive alignment across teams to deliver innovative products that meet or surpass customer needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Coordination and Oversight: Serve as the central point of contact for product-related projects, ensuring alignment between product strategy, development, marketing, and operations.
- Cross-functional Team Leadership: Lead and facilitate collaboration among product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Project Planning and Roadmap Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring that all phases of product development are delivered on time and within scope.
- Agile Process Management: Implement agile methodologies and ensure that sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives are effectively conducted to support iterative product development.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing proactive mitigation plans to minimize impact on delivery timelines and product quality.
- Communication and Reporting: Regularly communicate project status, key updates, risks, and next steps to senior management and other stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Resource Coordination: Manage resources across projects, ensuring efficient allocation of team members to meet project goals while balancing competing priorities.
- Project Budgeting: Coordinate the preparation, approval and management of budgets for project execution.
- Market and Stakeholder Needs: Ensuring that project scope is consistent with market and stakeholder needs.
- Quality and Performance Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to enforce rigorous testing protocols, ensuring high-quality product releases that meet user and business expectations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and insights to continuously improve products and project outcomes.
- Regulatory and Compliance Coordination: Ensure all products adhere to relevant financial regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project or product management, preferably in a Fintech or technology development environment.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and coordinating complex product development cycles.
- Proficiency in project management tools and agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Fintech products, financial services and market trends.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
- Certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent are an advantage.
