Prominent Manufacturing Company seeking Factory Worker and Supervisor who is responsible for performing various tasks to support the production and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Machinery:
Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the production process.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure efficient operation.
Watches gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Assembly:
Constructs components and assembles footwear by sewing, trimming, lasting etc to completion of a unit.
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
Material Handling:
Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and workstations with care.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
Report any defects or issues to supervisors for resolution.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
Work Environment Maintenance:
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Dispose of waste materials properly and recycle where applicable.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Ability to operate machinery and perform manual labor tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects of over 50lbs
Must possess 20/20 vision.
Must be able to stand for extended hours in a given day.
Hold a keen sense of responsibility to tasks.

The Factory Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Footwear Factory floor, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and quality control. They manage a team of factory workers, coordinate production schedules, and implement improvements to optimize workflow.
Production Management:
Set daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate them to employees.
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
MonitorFootwear production output to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and coach factory workers to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Conduct training sessions for new employees on machinery use and safety procedures.
Resolve conflicts and address any issues that arise among team members.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
Schedule regular maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Ensure the safe use of equipment and adherence to OSHA requirements.
Quality Control:
Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
Report any quality issues to higher management and suggest corrective actions.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production.
Coordinate with logistics to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and production data.
Problem-Solving:
Identify areas for improvement in production processes and suggest solutions.
Address production bottlenecks and implement strategies to optimize workflow.
Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Factory Supervisor or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
