We're hiring a Production Manager

Our client, a leading Food & Beverage manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize their food manufacturing operations. With a commitment to delivering high-quality dairy-based products, they are looking for a results-driven leader who can enhance production efficiency, maintain food safety standards, and drive continuous improvement.

About the Role

As the Production Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth production operations, meeting customer demand, and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a problem-solving mindset to oversee production planning, team management, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Production Planning & Management – Oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with quality standards.
🔹 Food Safety & Compliance – Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, and other quality management systems to meet industry regulations.
🔹 Team Leadership – Lead and develop production supervisors and line workers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
🔹 Process Optimization – Analyze production workflows, identify improvement areas, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
🔹 Inventory & Cost Control – Manage inventory levels, track production yields, and optimize material usage to reduce waste and expenses.
🔹 Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with local and international food safety and workplace regulations, including BSJ, MOH, FDA, USDA, and OSHA.
🔹 ERP & Data Management – Utilize Microsoft Dynamics – Business Central for production orders and oversee Easy Clocking for timekeeping.
🔹 Cross-Department Collaboration – Work closely with Engineering & Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Sales teams to align operational goals.

What You Need to Succeed

✅ Leadership Skills – Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced production environment.
✅ Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of milk-based production processes, including pasteurization, homogenization, and filtration.
✅ Problem-Solving Abilities – Analytical mindset to troubleshoot production challenges and drive continuous improvement.
✅ ERP Proficiency – Experience with Microsoft Dynamics – Business Central and Easy Clocking systems.
✅ Food Safety Focus – Deep understanding of HACCP, GMP, and personal hygiene policies.

Qualifications & Experience

📌 Education: Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
📌 Experience: At least 5 years in food manufacturing, with 2+ years in a production management role.
📌 Certifications: HACCP, Food Safety Certification (SQF, BRC), or similar credentials.
📌 Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
