PRODUCTION CHARGEHAND

Kiss Baking Company Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of Production Chargehand.

The job requires coordinating and monitoring the implementation of assigned production and/or maintenance operations, procedures and processes to ensure that required standards, specifications and work targets are achieved.

KEY DUTIES

• Schedule and assign work to relevant employees in accordance with the requirements of the production plan and monitor their performance to ensure established targets are achieved.
• Set up, check, inspect and monitor the operation of the plant and equipment to ensure that production targets are achieved.
• Monitor the availability of manpower, materials and equipment required for all assigned plant operations and funtions.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department as required to ensure the proper working of equipment.
• Investigate all production related operating complaints and recommend appropriate corrective action or inform the department responsible for dealing with the complaint.
• Carry out line inspections on process control methods to ensure operational complaince with appoved procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Applicant must possess at least five (5) CXC subjects, one of which must be English Language.
• Persons in possession of the academic qualifications and/or suitable combination of experience and training can apply.
• Must be self motivated, innovative, possess strong leadership qualities.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Must be a team player and able to multitask.
