Production Analyst

To collate, update and analyze production data to ensure accurate counting of inventory and resources in production, and support the team by identifying and troubleshooting sources of variance or losses in the manufacturing process.

Principal duties and Responsibilities

• To collate, verify, update and analyze production data in Production repositories.
• Liaise with Inventory Transfer Clerks and Production Supervisors to assure accuracy of production data in the inventory management system.
• Assist in inventory variance analysis in Production warehouses, reconcile and highlight inventory variances, analyze and report on deviations from standard as it relates to raw materials, labour and finished goods and make recommendations to stream line processes to reduce variances.
• Provide analytical support as required on problem solving and process improvement teams.
• Support, coach and train production personnel to use the inventory management software and other Production Information Systems.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Compile production reports as required, including but not limited to downtime and scrap and investigate, analyze and report on inventory variances.
• Support Production stock count activities.
• Assist Production team by highlighting and analyzing data to improve the manufacturing processes.
• Effectively communicates with all relevant stakeholders in an efficient and timely manner.
