The Process Development Officer is responsible for defining, designing, improving and optimizing the Organisation’s Core, Support and Management processes within the Business Process Management framework, Monitoring and Evaluating process efficiency and identifying process issues and opportunities for improvement. The Job Holder is, required to execute Change Management-related activities for the Organisation.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
ü NVQJ-Level 5 Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
ü Specialized training in process definition, design, measurement
ü At least one (1) year relevant post-qualification experience in Public Administration, major Financial Service Organisations, a Major Hotel Chain, a National Training Agency, a Polytechnic College, Major Information and Communications Technology Operations, Business Operations or Equivalent
KEY COMPETENCIES:
ü Ability to apply analysis and evaluative methodology
ü Excellent presentation preparation and facilitation skills
ü Ability to maintain quality assurance procedures
KEY DUTIES:
ü Gathers and organises information on organizational processes or procedures
ü Analyses data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding
ü Confers with stakeholders to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented or revised processes and procedures
ü Reviews processes and to identify problems and areas for improvements
ü Interviews stakeholders and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, activities performed, and workflows
ü Sensitizes stakeholders in the implementation of new or revised guidelines and procedures according to organizational policy
ü Conducts cost and efficiency analyses
ü Conducts benchmarking and other studies
ü Prepares technical reports based on research findings
