Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Pricing and Product Management team in the capacity of:

Pricing and Product Analyst

Perform and/or supervise the execution of assigned projects and computations in respect of new and existing Sagicor Group Jamaica products.

Conduct profitability testing, product set up and product performance analysis.

Location: Kingston

As a Pricing and Product Analyst, you will:

• Assist with product reviews and analysis of non - insurance lines of business.
• Review and monitor a suite of products to ensure marketability and suitability of the line’s product offerings.
• Investigate and provide responses to agents and customer service representatives for all product related concerns.
• Assist with other Sagicor Territories Insurance Pricing as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Computer Science or Actuarial Examination pass in at least three subjects or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
• At least one (1) year working experience in a life insurance industry would be an asset.
• Excellent mathematical, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of computer software packages, particularly spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good human relations/ interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the general and technical operations, practices and principles of a life insurance company and its related business lines.
