OVERVIEW:

This KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named "Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)" operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide professional services and support to its member firm KPMG United States ("the Client"). 

The Clients’ RM Independence Policy Quality and Training process area performs tasks related to KPMG Jamaica which has a delivery center named “KPMG Jamaica Expanded Support Services” (KJESS) operating from the Kingston office, it is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY: 

This person is responsible for performing various tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures provided by the Clients’ Policy, Quality and Training (PQT) team including, and is considered a Subject Matter Expert who aids with report writing, presentation report generation, policy updates and process improvement.
They report primarily to the JESS RMI Risk Manager on operational performance but will also take direction from other Policy, Quality and Training (PQT) Client team members who are accountable for supported work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery

•Serve as project assistant for multiple ongoing initiatives and possibly oversee entire small projects, manage deadlines, and other project tasks
•Execute tasks of priority to the work group with limited supervision; manage a queue of multiple tasks that have both long-term and short-term deadlines
•Interface with PPG team members regarding execution of tasks and responsibilities and help to drive desired outcomes for the Independence Group
•Contribute to the continued improvement of Risk Management processes, documentation, tools, and other relevant activities
•Identify opportunities for innovation within executed tasks, processes and projects that contribute to the improved efficiency and effectiveness of the workgroup
•May assist in creating dashboard reports and analytics to present project metrics to leadership
•Possibility of becoming an SME on drafting and publishing policy within JESS by attaining and maintaining a detailed understanding of Independence Policy, Quality, and Training processes.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
•Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in risk management or personal independence
•Ability to manage projects and processes and to apply expertise to make concrete decisions that impact the Risk organization.
•Solid verbal/written communication, problem-solving, research, analytical, and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
•Ability to work independently and work well within a team
•Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
•Detail-oriented and thorough, with effective time management skills
•Ability to build relationships and credibility with numerous constituents
•Proficient in MS Office Suite

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
•Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
•Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
•May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
