We are seeking a skilled and experienced plumber to join our dynamic maintenance team at Koi Resort. As a plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our plumbing systems throughout the resort. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our high standards of guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and water heaters in guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, and administrative buildings.
• Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions promptly. This includes troubleshooting leaks, blockages, and other plumbing-related problems.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and guest requests to minimize disruptions and ensure guest satisfaction. This may involve after-hours or on-call duties as required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operation of resort facilities. Collaborate with external contractors as needed for specialized repairs or installations.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of plumbing repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory. Keep detailed logs of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules to support efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members, guests, and contractors.
• Certification: Certification or licensure as a plumber is preferred. Willingness to obtain required certifications if not already held.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary. Stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring physical labor.
