The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist in managing the daily operations of the pharmacy.

The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist in managing the daily operations of the pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, inventory management, and providing customer service to patients. The technician plays a vital role in ensuring the pharmacy runs smoothly and efficiently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering, restocking, and monitoring expiration dates of medications
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, including answering questions regarding medications and health-related inquiries
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
• Support the pharmacist in conducting health checks and screenings, such as blood pressure monitoring
• Assist in training and orienting new pharmacy staff as required
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations as well as safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills
• Perform administrative tasks as required, such as billing and coding
