Cornwall Enterprises Limited (a subsidiary of Medical Disposables & Supplies Limited), located in Montego Bay, St. James invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the post of:

 PHARMACIST

 Major responsibilities:

• Serves clients by preparing medication after reviewing and interpreting the physician’s orders and counselling patients on drug therapy.
• Provides drug information by answering questions and request from other health care professionals and clients
• Maintain current registration with the Pharmacy Council. Be aware of existing and new legislations that governs the practice of pharmacy. advises management on changes and needed action
• Managing, supervising and training pharmacy technician and other support staffs
• Performs any other related functions assigned by the management team from time to time

 Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Be a fully registered pharmacist with a valid license to practice by the Pharmacy Council of Jamaica.
• Dispense and review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, and compliance with professional and Jamaican regulatory requirements.
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Exercise high level of confidentiality and professionalism
