Job Description:
- Maintaining the membership, contributions, and benefit databases of pension plans.
- Record contribution income, benefit outgo, and fee payments for a pension plan’s Revenue and Expenditure accounts.
- Preparation of retirement, termination and death benefit calculations and packages for pension plans.
- Preparation of periodic membership, contribution and activity reports for the company, clients, and trustees.
- Maintaining the payroll databases on the company’s payroll software systems, providing periodic reports and reconciliations.
- Perform basic income tax computations that are consistent to income tax regulations.
- File correspondence, completed forms, and other pension plan documents in an organized and efficient manner.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Adherence to the policies and regulations of the company.
- Responsible for the securing, protecting and proper handling of all confidential matters.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- An Associate degree from an accredited college/university in Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- At least one (1) year experience in the Financial Services Industry would be an asset.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
