We are seeking an experienced Pedagogy/Andragogy Education Expert to develop and implement innovative, learner-centered educational programs tailored to the construction and infrastructure design industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Development:
    • Design, develop, and adapt educational programs and training modules for professionals in construction and infrastructure design.
    • Ensure programs align with industry standards, certifications, and best practices.
  2. Instructional Design:
    • Incorporate adult learning theories (andragogy) to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
    • Use multimedia, simulations, and hands-on activities to enhance learning outcomes.
  3. Needs Assessment:
    • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning objectives within the construction or infrastructure sector.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align educational programs with organizational goals and industry requirements.
  4. Training Delivery:
    • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
    • Employ diverse instructional strategies to cater to varying learning styles.
  5. Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
    • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine and improve educational content and delivery methods.
  6. Collaboration:
    • Partner with subject matter experts, engineers, and industry professionals to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
    • Work with institutions, accreditation bodies, and training providers to develop certification programs.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pedagogy/andragogy, instructional design, or adult education.
  • Practical experience in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure design.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, tools, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering e-learning and blended learning programs.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in instructional design, project management, or adult education.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, sustainability practices, and emerging trends in construction and infrastructure.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve training outcomes.

Work Environment:
This position offers a mix of remote and on-site opportunities, depending on project requirements. Occasional travel may be required to deliver training at client or project locations.
