Payroll Officer

Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing fortnightly payroll while ensuring full integrity and compliance with all statutory requirements and Government agencies.

LASCO Distributors Limited, a marketing and distribution company within LASCO Affiliated Companies, seeks the services of a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Payroll Officer (Consumer Division). Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing fortnightly payroll while ensuring full integrity and compliance with all statutory requirements and Government agencies.

Core Responsibilities:

• Preparing lunch uploads for Sales Representatives (Consumer and Pharmaceutical Division)
• Checking statutory payments for approvals
• Preparing statutory reports for payment
• Monthly and Fortnightly Lunch uploads for Consumer and Pharmaceutical Division
• Fortnightly Payroll Submissions
• Preparing direct banking report and sending email to TAJ office
• Uploading loan advances daily
• Updating cheque listings for Analysts daily
• Printing and Packaging Payslips (Fortnightly)

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in payroll processing
• Diploma in Accounting, or any related discipline
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft excel
• Experience with Payroll and Accounting Software would be an asset
