Responsible for performing various tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures provided by the Clients’ Payroll team.

We are seeking to hire a talented, highly motivated Payroll Administrator who will be responsible for performing various tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures provided by the Clients’ Payroll  team including, but not limited to: processing payments, processing adjustments, setting up deductions, preparation and distribution of overpayment notices and recovery and issuing payments to terminated employees as specified by each state.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service Delivery

  • Review HR Audit report and determine required action
  • Monitor e-mailbox, responding to a wide variety of requests within a specified time
  • Calculate off-cycle checks as needed
  • Calculate over/underpayments dependent upon effective dated transactions in the payroll system
  • Update employees tax records
  • Process deduction set up and refunds
  • Process tax balance adjustments
  • Review requests from the applicable website and process “one-off” transactions when pay lines are open.
  • Prioritize work assignments in order to meet strict daily deadlines
  • Issuing payments to terminated employees as specified by each jurisdiction
  • Interact with other departments within KIG to ensure that assigned tasks are completed accurately and timely
  • Review and recommend changes to the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform Quality checks on various process areas as required

Administrative Support

  • Manages correspondence and communicates organizational information to appropriate parties as required.
  • Prepares and/or updates reports, correspondence and other documents.
  • Utilizes and stays current on available technology and office equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or Equivalent Professional Accreditation
  • At least two years relevant work experience within a payroll environment or a similar process

 

Compensation and benefits are very competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
