: Parts Sale Associate

Reports To: Store Manager

Summary : The Sales Associate performs a variety of customer service, in store, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the company.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine duties as they relate to proving excellent customer service. (smile, engaging ,courteous)
  • Greet the customer as they entering the store.
  • customer phone calls Answers
  • Ensure Cooler/Drinks are stock at all times
  • Inform management if displayed price does not correspond with price in system
  • Inform management of any item which is not in system.
  • Enter billing and credit invoices on the computer system.
  • Ensure that all items are scanned to ensure that inventory remains balanced
  • To conduct an inventory of spark plugs in your possession at the start and end of shift
  • Ensure that change is counted before given to the customer
  • Re-stocks and maintains store displays in retail area
  • Ensure that all items are priced correctly while stocking shelves
  • Performs routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the cleanliness of the retail sales area, restroom, kitchen, glass door, counter and all products
  • Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.
  • Maintains the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the company's standards and today's customer satisfaction.
  • Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
  • To be professionally groomed at all times
  • Performs other tasks as required by Supervisor/Manager


Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in sales
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Must be efficient, flexible, and willing to learn
  • Must be able to lift 5lbs and more
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment and work under pressure


Physical/Mental Demands:
  • Able to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk and hear.

Working Conditions:
  • Work in an indoor warehouse environment 95% of the time.
  • Noise level is usually moderate to high
