Job Description: 

The Partner Development Assistant is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies through indirect sales channels, primarily focusing on managing relationships with partners, resellers, agents, and distributors to drive sales and revenue growth for the company’s telecommunications products and services. The role involves working closely with both internal team and external partners to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and ensure successful sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of advanced partner solutions to drive revenue growth.
  • Actively generate sales opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals with external partners.
  • Collaborate with assigned sales teams to develop regional strategies that ensure success in both channel relationships and commercial business sectors.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the business models of external collaborators and their motivations for partnership, and able to clearly and effectively communicate success criteria within the organization.
  • Create regional business plans with maps to assess channel network capabilities, identify gaps, and set measurable goals to boost channel-driven revenue.
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard key partners necessary to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Provide the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively sell the company’s products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in both direct and channel sales.
  • Proven ability to mentor sales representatives, highlighting the benefits of collaboration and sharing best practices.
  • Strong understanding of complex sales processes, with the ability to build consensus and drive support to achieve sales and technical certification goals across multiple levels.
  • Skilled at setting priorities, focusing on details, and motivating both internal and external teams to meet agreed-upon objectives.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability, with a focus on positively influencing teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in addition to high energy levels.
  • BA/BS degree required; technical competence is strongly preferred.
