About the Role:
TCRC Manufacturing Organization is seeking a meticulous and dynamic Production Coordinator/Scheduler. This role is pivotal in ensuring that production schedules are met, and customer shipments are completed on time and in full. The successful candidate will coordinate with various departments including Production Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, Processing Operations, Plant Maintenance, and Logistics to efficiently expedite raw materials into finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling and Coordination:
• Maintain accurate production work schedules.
• Identify and address challenges in the processing work schedule.
• Verify production capacity with the Plant Manager.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and warehousing.
Production Execution and Tracking:
• Execute production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Track production progress and report potential shortfalls.
• Coordinate plant maintenance activities to avoid disruptions.
• Ensure employee safety requirements are met.
Quality and Food Safety:
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and SQF plans.
• Lead product recall exercises and food safety audits.
• Resolve concerns identified under FSQA Programs.
Productivity and Reporting:
• Deliver on productivity KPIs set by the Head of Manufacturing.
• Update the Production and Usage Database and generate SAP reports.
• Control headcount and ensure proper staff utilization.
• Daily tracking of waste and reject reporting.
Sanitation:
• Maintain Master Sanitation Schedule and chemicals inventory usage logs.
• Ensure all sanitation functions are completed per departmental standards.
• Ensure sanitation payroll is completed.
