PROCESSING TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a Processing Technician to work on our Farm in St. Ann who will be responsible for all aspects of plant processing from crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the management team. These responsibilities include assembling completed product materials into various containers and packages as well as ensuring that the appropriate quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged. This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity and efficiency.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to: local regulations, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules
  • Operate with integrity and honesty
  • Work closely with production team on all elements of the overall manufacturing operations
  • Rotate across different stations as needed, including but not necessarily limited to: harvesting, trimming, drying, decarb, mixing and packaging
  • Responsible for flower inventory as well as work in progress and finished goods inventory
  • Keeps an accurate record of final products as well as maintaining inventory via seed to sale tracking
  • Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all product
  • Accounts for each by-product type processed of the flower
  • Works in a timely manner and strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy
  • Ensures that all concentrates are packaged, counted, sorted and labeled accurately
  • Transport product and equipment to and from various processing areas
  • Safe handling of equipment including lamps, electrical ballasts, pumps, fans and cutting equipment
  • Wash and/or sanitize equipment being utilized in processing
  • Manages day to day issues as they arise, requesting assistance as needed
  • Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate degree in Pharmacology, Production, Manufacturing or similar field
  • 3-5 years of experience in related position with an emphasis in an operations production/ manufacturing environment
  • Experience in various cannabis testing or formulation methods preferred
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to interact professionally, leading by example
  • Manage a controlled workflow in a fast-paced environment
