PHOTOGRAPHER/PHOTO EDITOR

PHOTOGRAPHER
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing his or her duties in accordance with standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will take memorable pictures of people, events, places and objects.
Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:
- Technical understanding of photography.
- Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
- Consistently offering professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Possessing strong sales and communication skills.
- The ability to work flexible hours and being an excellent team player.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 CXC or ‘O’ Level Subjects
- Certification in the field of Photography
- Knowledge of operating a Nikon camera would be an advantage.
- Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.
PHOTO EDITOR
The Photo Editor will be responsible for editing all resort and photo-shoot images. The goal is to ensure that every image meets established company quality standards before they are presented to guests. He or she will be responsible for completing full Light Room editing and post-production on all wedding images captured on property.
Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:
- Excellent knowledge of the technical aspects of Photography and Photo Editing/Post Production.
- Experience with color management and printer maintenance.
- Having a good understanding of resort photography operations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to be creative.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Digital Photography and Editing/Post Production.
- Must have strong working knowledge of editing software packages such as Light room and Photoshop.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programmes (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Resort photo experience preferred, but not essential.
- Certifications and qualification in Photography and/or Editing/Post Production preferred.
