Outbound Sales Associate

Iterum is a leading nearshore customer contact management service provider with a reach in Panama, Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, USA, and Jamaica.

Summary / Objective: As a Sales Associate at Iterum, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers and helping them meet their needs through our products and services. You will leverage your sales skills to offer customers additional products and services, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction.

 

Essential Functions:

Sales Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to the ones described as follows:

  • Handle inbound and outbound interactions, acting as a direct contact for sales inquiries. 
  • Conduct cold calls and follow-up calls to generate interest and schedule meetings or product demonstrations.
  • Knowledge of lead generation processes.
  • Provide detailed product/service information and assist customers through the decision-making process.
  • Familiarity with Business Relationship Management (BRM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Proficiency in using Google Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs.
  • Experience in post-sale processes.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Communicate with team leads or supervisors regarding sales targets and challenges. 
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing additional duties as assigned by management. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations when handling customer information. 
  • Use professional ethics and discretion concerning company directives and proprietary information.
  • Any other duties, responsibilities and/ or activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

  • Strong sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets. 
  • Ability to work within designated hours with good attendance and punctuality. 
  • Knowledge of products, services, and regulatory guidelines. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others. 
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence customers effectively. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more CXCs including English Language / High School Leaving Certificate / HEART Level II Certificate or equivalent qualifications. 
  • At least 1 year of BPO experience with a focus on sales.
  • Excellent English skills in written and verbal communication. Literacy of writing.
  • Demonstrated strong skills in Microsoft Windows and browser applications.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good print speed (would be an advantage in terms of performance & speed)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to deal with stress & work pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be flexible to work any 8-hour shift within 24 hours, and 5 days of the week

Training Period:Three to four weeks initial training depending on the program. 

Modality: On-site (this is not a hybrid or work from home role)
