About the FSC:

The Financial Services Commission (FSC) is an integrated Financial Services regulator. Our mission is to regulate and supervise the Securities, Insurance, Private Pensions and Trust and Corporate Services providers for the protection of their users, thereby enhancing public confidence through the efforts of a competent workforce.

The FSC has an immediate opening for the position of Organizational Development Specialist.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Organization Development Specialist is responsible for designing and maintaining systems and processes for organizational structure design, creation of new roles/functions and job evaluation. Enable an efficient organization structure that aligns with the strategy, business objectives and operations of the FSC and undertake policy development to support design processes, recruitment and employee reward frameworks. Leads organizational development initiatives to  accelerate the FSC’s  transformation while also ensuring that the organization is equipped to  support the Twin Peaks mandate. Provides leadership guidance to teams and develop leadership capabilities.  

 MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assesses organizational structure and identify gaps and requirements for the development of an optimal organizational design.
  • Develops the organizational development plan  and supports the establishment of the new organization through defining and documenting key roles and organization structure.
  • Builds organization effectiveness through designing, acquiring and delivering interventions, including frameworks, policies, processes and programs, across the talent process spectrum, which support the overall talent strategy and transformation.
  • Collaborates with HR to create an operational plan to execute an organizational development strategy, defining accountabilities between HR and the Transformation Office to build and pilot key initiatives.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure alignment of new organizational design with transformation goals and objectives.
  • Develops and lead change management strategies that addresses the cultural and operational shifts required for the Twin Peak Model implementation.
  •  Builds programs that support the career development and progression of employees to foster a sustainable avenue for future leaders.
  •  Builds leadership development programs focused on preparing high-potential employees to lead key initiatives and teams.

Educational Requirement (s)

  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Administration or related discipline.
  • Professional certification in SHRM, Prosci or talent management would be an asset

 Required Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of proven experience leading multiple components of organization development including strategic workforce planning, organization design, talent development, performance management or job architecture.
  • Direct experience developing talent strategy and aligning this to overall enterprise strategy.
  • Expertise in change management, organizational design, talent development and employee engagement.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of organizational development initiatives.
