Operator- Adhesives

Processes raw materials into finished products in a safe and quality conscious manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

1. Accurately weighs out raw material as stated in the Product Worksheet.
2. Minimizes wastage of materials.
3. Converts raw material into finished products, in accordance with the guidelines and processing standards defined by the Department
4. Works in a safe manner, adhering to the department’s standards and guidelines.
5. Packages finished products that is produced in accordance with guidelines defined by the Department.
6. Takes and submits samples of the products that is produced to the Quality Assurance Department.
7. Reports any problem with a production batch to the Quality Assurance Department and the Production Supervisor 
8. Reports any problem with the equipment to the Production Supervisor.
9. Completes the relevant information on the Product Worksheet, signs Worksheet and passes to the Quality Assurance Technician. 
10. Assists the Packers in placing Product for packaging as required.
11. Weighs, secures and labels all unused raw materials and ends, including those used by the Packers.
12. Keeps Production Equipment clean after use.
13. Ensures that the Production Department is kept in a clean and safe condition, both during the day and at the end of the work day.
14. Provides general assistance in other departments, under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
15. Keeps the safety equipment issued in good condition.
16. Promotes harmonious working relationships both within the Production Department, and between the Production Department and other Departments.
