Purpose of the Role

To provide operational support by facilitating package clearance at airports and seaports and managing the invoicing process for our customers. This role requires experience in inbound logistics, including both air and sea freight, as well as experience in customer service administration. 

Principal Responsibilities

• Effectively communicating with airport and port authorities, shipping companies, customs officials, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of package clearances, ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the creation and issuance of customer invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
• Generate regular reports on package clearances, invoice status, and other logistics-related metrics to support management decision-making.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the logistics process.

Minimum Education, Experience & Knowledge

• 5 CSEC passes at the general proficiency level, including English & Mathematics.
• 2 years related work experience.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and customs clearance procedures.
• Must have strong knowledge of ASYCUDA system.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel.

Working Conditions

• Flexible hours with extensive standing and walking.
• Will be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Will be required to push, lift, and manipulate heavy fixtures, boxes, equipment
