Operations Supervisor

This position manages day-to-day activities to ensure the department is running efficiently and meets the expectations and needs of customers and staff. The incumbent will ensure that there is clear and effective communication between the sales team, top-up team and clients. .

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and building the commercial footprint and sales focus of the Company.

 Some Key Responsibilities

• Supervise employees, including making decisions about evaluating, scheduling/work assignments, work procedures, resolving conflicts and training. Responsible for determining and recommending training needs and planning, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations.
• Directs customer service and support functions. Assists in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization’s mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
• Serves as liaison to other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management as well as training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.

 Other Duties:

Management of Accounts Receivables and other Accounting Duties:

• Manage receivables for airtime sales
• Update receivables in the accounting system
• Prepare monthly Summary of Invoices of Purchase Orders
• Assist in the preparation of deposits

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years’ in an Operations Management or Supervisory role, overseeing daily business functions such as logistics, inventory, production or customer service
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Operations Management or Accounting/Finance)
• Ability to multitask and delegate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Ability to perform a wide range of duties and tasks
