Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Operations Project Lead to manage restoration and cleaning projects from start to finish. This role combines technical fieldwork with project leadership, ensuring every job is executed to Steamatic’s high standards. You’ll oversee technician teams, communicate with clients, and ensure each project stays on time, within scope, and delivers outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead restoration and specialty cleaning projects, including water and fire damage remediation, mould removal, and environmental cleaning.
• Oversee and execute Air Duct Cleaning services, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems to ensure air quality and system efficiency.
• Operate and maintain specialized restoration and cleaning equipment (e.g., duct cleaning systems, dehumidifiers, floor care machines).
• Assess job sites, develop work plans, and coordinate team logistics for timely project completion.
• Supervise and mentor technicians on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company protocols.
• Maintain job documentation: before-and-after reports, photos, daily logs, and client updates.
• Communicate project timelines, expectations, and updates with clients professionally and clearly.
• Manage equipment, materials, and inventory needed for daily operations.
• Respond to emergency service calls as part of the on-call rotation schedule.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in restoration, HVAC, environmental cleaning, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of restoration processes, air duct/HVAC cleaning, and environmental safety practices.
• Proven leadership experience in managing field technicians or crews.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and customer communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting/operating heavy equipment in varied environments.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Available for emergency services when needed.

Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)

• IICRC Certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, AMRT)
• Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) or HVAC-related certifications
• First Aid, Health & Safety training
