Supports the Supervisor and acts as backup when needed. Requires an Associate Degree or equivalent, MS Office skills, a valid driving permit, and strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of HSSE, customer service, and the automotive industry is a plus.

Job Purpose
Provide Support to the Office / Station Supervisor in the management of the assigned location.  The Office Coordinator will:
  • Act back-up for the Supervisor when the Supervisor is not in present at the Office / Station.
  • Act as back-up for RSA’s when they are not present at the Office / Station.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Associate Degree in Business Management or a related field with three (3) years proven track record and experience and/or an equivalent combination of a Diploma (Business/Customer Service field) and at least five (5) years relevant proven track record and experience.
  • Computer literate and experience in the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize web based systems.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive Industry, HR, Marketing, Accounting and Finance will be an asset.
  • Experience in Customer service will be an asset.
  • HSSE knowledge and Safe System of Works will be an asset.
  • Possession of a valid driving permit with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience. 
  • Ability to drive Manual Transmission will be an asset.
  • A current Police Certificate of Character (this must be updated and supplied every six (6) months at the employee’s cost)

The incumbent or any candidate should possess the following skill set:
  • A critical thinker who possesses proven Analytical, Troubleshooting, Data Analysis and Time Management skills.
  • A proven team player who is Goal Oriented, Creative & Innovative.
  • Must possess excellent Communication i.e. Public Speaking & Writing skills
  • Knowledge and Experience in Social Media and digital marketing will be an asset
  • A polite, courteous and professional disposition with the ability to remain calm in stressful or unusual situations
  • Ability to work on a Shift Basis inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
  • Must provide a Certificate of Character every six (6) months.
