The Operations Supervisor leads and manages Health Net branches, aligning with corporate goals. Oversees ops functions incl. HSE, HR, Facilities, Fleet, IT, Security, and Business Dev., while supporting strategic direction and ensuring effective leadership across all areas.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboratively establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices, timely training and best practices.
Provide leadership and direction for the efficient operations and maintenance of all facilities structural / building life safety.
Work with the CEO to identify new markets, growth opportunities and customer needs
Work with the CEO and Branch Supervisors / Managers to develop and maintain operating budgets and forecasts for all Health Net facilities
Conduct planned inspections of the locations to validate that Class A quality levels of service are continuously provided to all customers and visitors of Health Net.
Cultivate and maintain an exceptionally positive working relationship with all branch staff.
Provide accurate and prompt assistance and resolutions to all inquiries and requests from the various branches
Adaptable to dynamic and changing business needs, including strategic shifts to team roles and responsibilities.
Performs additional assigned duties as requested or assigned by Senior Management from time to time.
PATIENT CARE & SALES
Meet monthly sales targets for the Health Net Branches. Detecting, investigating and remedying variances in sales across branches.
Ensure complete patient satisfaction through monitoring patient interactions to ensure timely and quality services
Increase standards of customer service through employee coaching and roleplaying
Respond to customer concerns and following up with all relevant parties in a timely manner for the effective resolution of the complaint
Ensure that the information with respect to promotions and limited time offers are shared with all team members and patients are apprised of all promotions through correct display and upselling promotions.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
Comply with all safety and compliance procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
Must complete all required safety training as scheduled and assigned.
Support compliance with Lab Medica’s minimum audit and compliance standards in facility management, financial management, and operational policies and procedures.
Enforce all Company policies and training requirements regarding safe and efficient operations and work practices.
Assist with investigations, implementations, and monitoring of hazard control, and team safety practices to ensure compliance with all local codes and regulations, as well as Lab Medica’s operations standards.
Work with the Human Resource Department to provide the strategy, vision, and continuous improvement to all employees.
Foster a collaborative teamwork environment. Promote energy and enthusiasm whilst maximizing productivity.
Address and resolve employees’ concerns, queries, and grievances, escalating to HR when necessary.
Ensure all Company policies and procedures including, time and attendance, dress code, customer service and acceptable workplace behaviour are upheld and maintained.
Work with the Human Resource Department to execute the Company’s Performance Management Systems
Ensure that training plans are followed for all newly hired and promoted employees
FACILITIES, FLEET & SECURITY MANAGEMENT
Maintain relationships with suppliers, landlords and all other stakeholders, whilst addressing all concerns and queries etc. as it relates to the Health Net facilities.
Negotiate with contractors for quotations and Scope of Works.
Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment etc. to meet health and safety standards.
Ensure all Company vehicles are compliant with regulations such as, registration, servicing, inspections and valid insurances, etc.
Monitor GPS systems to ensure drivers are compliant with relevant policies and procedures. Advise management of any breaches or infractions.
Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, security groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Technical Management, or related fields
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Operations Management or Project Management
Experience may be considered equivalent if experience demonstrated increased depth and breadth of responsibility
Working knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
Strong procurement and negotiation skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) will be an asset
Knowledge of Facilities & Fleet, HR and Business Development principles will be an asset
Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations will be an asset
