OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR – Financial Processing

Responsible for overseeing a team processing financial transactions including but not limited to Clearings, ACH, LINX settlements and routine processing of client and internal transactions.

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing a team processing financial transactions including but not limited to Clearings, ACH, LINX settlements and routine processing of client and internal transactions. Focus is on leading the team in driving efficiency, accuracy, and ensuring compliance with operating standards as guided by the bank’s documented processes and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Lead the team in meeting internal and external deadlines for transactions processing.
• Ensure effective daily operations, through the efficient management of service levels, queues, operational risk.
• Establish work schedules and procedures (documented) to support efficient management of daily processes.
• People management of the team members, responsible for coaching and performance management.
• Monitor staff workloads and assist in resolving conflicts, including complaints that require corrective measures such as discipline.
• Acts as a representative on behalf of the bank for Regulatory and Operational committees related to Payments Processing as needed.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of the banks products, policies and processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and report fraudulent activity.

• Deep understanding of all company policies and practices, internal controls and AML/TF
  practices.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, the Digital Banking Platform, Temenos T24 and other technologies deployed by the Branch.
• High emotional intelligence.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management / Business Administration / Marketing / Finance or a
  related field of study OR
• 5+ years of retail banking experience, with 2+ years of supervisory level experience
  preferred.
• Experience in managing teams in a financial institution.
