PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Work with the IT team to assess and define network requirements for current and future projects.
• Identify and establish performance metrics and requirements to guide network projects.
• Monitor and troubleshoot VoIP and network performance, ensuring high-quality, reliable connections.
• Set performance metrics and conduct audits to maintain optimal net operation.
• Research new technologies to enhance scalability, security, and efficiency in network operations.
• Keep network documentation up to date, including diagrams, configurations, and inventory.
• Perform regular security checks, including firewall and access control management, to safeguard data.
• Plan for network growth and ensure disaster recovery and backup procedures are in place.
• Track and report network performance metrics, offering updates to IT management and other stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years’ related work experience.
• Professional certification such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, NSE Certification(s) or other related certifications.
• Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
• Extensive experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
• Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
• Excellent knowledge of telephony systems, including VoIP and PBX systems.
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards.
• Extensive application support experience with enterprise-level software and systems.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
