Job Summary:

• To increase brand equity by ensuring that stock is displayed and merchandised in accordance with the Brand’s standard. It involves making sure that stock is rotated, POP material is used effectively, and customers are visited regularly.

Job Description:

• Merchandise the Company’s stock within various retail outlets.
• Maintain product in the best location to facilitate visibility, consumer traffic flow and convenience.
• Manage stock expiries by rotating stock regularly.
• Remove any expired stock from retail outlet shelves and notify retailer and Brand manager of expired stock for collection.
• Increase and maintain shelf share and facings and ensure that all products on display are properly priced.
• Maintain shelf layout in keeping with planograms.
• Meet regularly with salespersons to deal with customer needs, merchandising issues and customer complaints.
• Ensure that all Gondola end rentals are well stocked.
• Ensure that all back stock from outlet’s warehouse are placed on shelf.
• Ensure the proper shelf placement of the company’s Point of Purchase materials- shelf talkers, posters and leaflets.
• Prepare and submit daily call reports.
• To advise retailers and their staff on the display of products.
• To continuously examine the market and report on competitive methods, products and prices.
• Perform other related duties as required by job function.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 CXC passes, which must include Mathematics and English Language
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar environment
