Jamaica National Foundation (JNBSF)

Background

Jamaica National Foundation (JNBSF) is the philanthropic arm of the Jamaica National Group, which includes Jamaica National Building Society. The Foundation is a non-profit organization whose vision is to empower and regenerate rural communities throughout Jamaica.

Over the past three (3) years, the JNBSF has supported the growth of the social enterprise sector in Jamaica. The main goals of our work in this area are - to mobilize increased employment, investment and revenue within communities in a socially responsible manner, and in so doing improve the nation’s economic, social and environmental conditions. 

The JNBSF is desirous of continuing the support for the social enterprise sector through the creation of enabling environments for the growth of the sector and by raising awareness of social entrepreneurship across Jamaica.
