Omega Medical Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. Our lab is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and reliable diagnostic testing to support high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic testing on blood, body fluids, and other clinical specimens.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure accuracy, validity, and timeliness of test results.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control, and safety protocols.
- Maintain proper documentation and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver reliable laboratory support for patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Registration with the Council of Professions Supplementary to Medicine (CPSM) in Jamaica.
At least one (1) year of post-internship experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Proficient in a range of diagnostic procedures and laboratory instrumentation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
