1. Be punctual, courteous and pleasant. A business-like and dignified mode of dress is always required
2. Responsible for securing sales to all customers inclusive of Pharmacies, Supermarkets, etc.
3. Assist in marketing and promotional efforts.
4. Attend the weekly sales meeting at the office.
5. Provide a detailed sales visit plan every Thursday for the week ahead.
6. Provide a detailed weekly report of the previous week’s activities outlining sales, market information, customer comments etc.
7. Report in via telephone throughout the day and on each day’s progress and remain in communication with the managers and colleagues.
8. Report daily sales visits, outcomes and issues.
9. Call in orders every afternoon by 2pm.
10. Assist with sales to walk-in customers and assist with their purchases and ensure customer satisfaction through careful attention to customers’ needs
11. Execute demonstration and explanation of medical products to customers.
12. Answer the telephone, handle telephone enquiries with courtesy and respect; sell over the phone, transfer calls, take messages and respond to emails.
13. Assist in the packing and delivery of orders to customers.
14. Have a good working knowledge of the computer system and its functions.
15. Ensure correct safety procedures are communicated and complied with.
16. Ensure items are accurately priced and labelled.
17. Be willing to learn new items and procedures.
18. Follow up and follow through with assigned tasks and responsibilities in due time
19. Prepare quotations and marketing mail-outs.

21. Carry out stock counts as and when required.
22. Report exceptions, product requests, market research
23. Assist new and/or junior staff with on the job training
24. Sign for the acknowledgement of receipt of official company correspondence such as memos and letters.
25. Attend relevant staff meetings from time to time.
26. Always comply with company policies including Health and Safety and Human Resources Policies.
27. Any other functions that are related to the duties stated above.
