The Medical Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing analytical and general administrative support to the Division and for ensuring the efficient management of all samples and materials including but not limited to storage, issuing and reporting on same.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Medical Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing analytical and general administrative support to the Division and for ensuring the efficient management of all samples and materials including but not limited to storage, issuing and reporting on same.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains a robust reporting system of tailored sales and marketing reports.
  • Proactively reviews and analyses various data sources to identify key business and performance metrics and trends, and provides feedback and recommendations on same to the relevant Company personnel.
  • Ensures that the Division’s customer database is accurately and efficiently maintained.
  • Assists with the compilation of business-related expenses within the Division and facilitates the timely and accurate submission and processing of same.
  • Supports the planning and execution of marketing and/or promotional meetings and initiatives, including the acquisition of associated materials; the coordination of events and management of associated budgets.
  • Schedules and makes the necessary arrangements for business travel, accommodations, interviews, conferences, meetings, training etc.
  • Receives and stores and issues all samples and other non-commercial products and materials and maintains database of same.
  • Performs periodic stock checks and audits on all samples and non-commercial products and materials and reports on same to the relevant stakeholders, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures that all keys and access cards to the Sample Rooms and any other related areas are kept in a safe location and contributes to the security of such areas.
  • Acts as the administrator of the Division’s Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Acts as in-house liaison for trade-based team members, including assisting with the management of route plans, reviewing Medical Representative Activity reports against plan and ensuring that information is relayed as directed.
  • Develops and assists team with the delivery of presentations to enable the Division to meet business objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Management or a related discipline.

 

Additional Certification:

  • Administrative Professional Certification would be considered an asset.
  • Professional certification in Microsoft Office would be considered an asset.

 

Experience:

  • Previous experience providing administrative support in a sales and marketing environment would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in marketing analysis would be considered an asset.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
