We're hiring a Mechanic/Driver

The Mechanic/Driver will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the operational readiness of company vehicles and equipment. Additionally, the Mechanic/Driver will provide reliable and safe transportation for company personnel and materials as needed. This role demands a thorough knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
•Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
•Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and engine diagnostics.
•Identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
•Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and scheduled maintenance for each vehicle.
•Make requests for order of parts and tools as needed.

Driving Duties
•Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, goods, and equipment to designated locations as needed.
•Ensure timely and efficient deliveries and pickups, adhering to company schedules and deadlines.
•Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

Safety and Compliance
•Follow all safety protocols and company policies when driving and conducting mechanical work.
•Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Documentation and Reporting
•Complete required logs and reports accurately, including mileage, maintenance, and repair records.
•Report all incidents, accidents, and mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
•Certification as a mechanic or similar qualification is preferred.
•Proven experience as a mechanic and driver with knowledge of vehicle and engine repair.
•Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues.
•Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
•Good communication and organizational skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Working Conditions:
•May require lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
•Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if required for emergencies
