Job Summary:
The Mason is responsible for executing construction, repair, and maintenance tasks related to masonry work, ensuring the resort's infrastructure and aesthetics are maintained at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform masonry repairs and installations, including walls, floors, and other structures.
- Mix and apply various materials such as cement, mortar, and plaster.
- Inspect masonry structures for damage and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Assist with the construction of new resort facilities or renovations.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mason or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

- Monitor temperature controls to ensure food safety standards are maintained.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of refrigeration units.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance.
- Advise on upgrades or replacements for outdated or malfunctioning equipment.
- Comply with safety regulations, including handling refrigerants safely.
- Collaborate with kitchen and storage teams to address cooling needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in refrigeration maintenance or a similar role.
- Certification in refrigeration systems or HVAC is preferred.
